Good Thursday morning surfers, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Laguna Beach Patch surf report. Well, the good news...the surf has picked up, the bad news...those condtions are likely to worsen sooner than later due to the storm which is expected at some point during the day.
We're starting off with some semi-clean conditions, but some spots are already seeing some texture or even light bump on it. As fas as the surf goes...it's a mix of some building south and southwest swells and some smaller west northwest energy in the water.
That's delivering some fast and crumbly drained out lines, with a few workable corners. Most Laguna Beach spots are running about knee to chest high, with the top south facing breaks seeing some larger sets.

At 6:22 this morning the tide dropped to a 0.2 low which will have many spots lacking water early to mid-morning. The tide then pushes back up to a 3.1 high at 12:45 this afternoon.
If you're going to get wet, throw on at least a 3/2 fullsuit, with the water temperature averaging between 57 and 59 degrees. Good luck out there!!
