Good Thursday morning surfers, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Laguna Beach Patch surf report. Well, the surf has backed off a bit, but there are still some playful size waves coming through at those top south facing spots.
The conditions are starting off fairly clean, with some beaches seeing a little texture on the water. Taking a look at the waves...we've got some fading south southwest swell and barely any northwest energy in the water.
That recipe is offering some fast drained out lines, with a few pick and choose corners. Most Laguna Beach spots are running about knee to waist high, with those south facing focal points pulling some stomach high plus sets.

Checking the tides...at 6:45 this morning it drained out to a negative 0.9 low which will have many spots lacking water and shape early on. The tide then climbs back up to a 3.5 high at 1:22 this afternoon.
If you're planning on paddling, you can breakout that 3/2 fullsuit, with the water temperature averaging between 59 and 61 degrees. Good luck out there!
