Good Thursday morning surfers, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Laguna Beach Patch surf report. Well, we don't see this too often, but there's some pretty dense fog parked along most of the coast. So, you'll have to paddle out in order to see what's happening early on. Basically, we're still looking at mostly small and weak energy.
The conditions are fairly clean early on, with a little texture on it at some spots. We've got a combination of mostly southwest swell and a little bit of the northwest energy.
That recipe is giving this neck of the woods some crumbly sectiony lines, with a few workable ones, with the small wave gear. Most Laguna Beach spots are running about knee high, with the standout south facing breaks seeing thigh to waist high waves, with maybe a plus set.

Taking a look at the tides...at 5:30 this morning it drained out to a negative 0.5 low which isn't helping things due to the lack of swell. Many spots are starting off pretty slow. Your best bet...once that tide fills-in a bit. It eventually climbs up to a 3.4 high at 12:04 this afternoon.
If you're going to get wet, well that water temperature is still definitely on the cold side, so throw on at least a 3/2 fullsuit or maybe that 4/3, with it hanging between 57 and 58 degrees. Good luck out there!
