Thursday Surf Report

A few workable waves, with the small wave gear.

Good Thursday morning surfers, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Laguna Beach Patch surf report.  Well, it looks like there could be a few fun waves, with the small wave gear.  Yep, we're not seeing much energy in this neck of the woods, but there's definitely some rideable waves at some of the focal points.

The conditions are starting off nice and glassy, which is making it more inviting!  Taking a look at the waves ... this stretch of sand is seeing a small combination of mainly south-southwest swell and some northwest windswell underneath it.

That recipe is making for some sorta soft sectiony lines, with the occasional fun workable corner.  Most Laguna Beach spots are running about knee- to waist-high, with not much more than that.

At 5:27 early this morning the tide climbed up to a 4.0 high, which will have some spots a little slow early on.  The tide then drops to a 0.5 low at 11:45 later this morning and then pushes up again to a 5.1 high at 6:25 this evening.

If you're going to get wet, throw on no more than a 3/2 fullsuit, with the water temperature hanging between 59 and 62 degrees.  Have fun out there!
