Thurston Middle School Seeks Unused Donations Of Sports Gear
Laguna Beach residents can be a part of Thurston Middle School's annual Sports Swap by making an eligible donation. Here's what to know.
LAGUNA BEACH, CA — The annual Sports Swap is returning to Thurston Middle School, and Laguna Beach residents can be a part of the community event by donating their unused sports gear and equipment this October.
Residents interested in making a donation can contact Sports Swap Chair Prue Wyman at 347-781-3788. Donations can be dropped off, or volunteers can pick up donated items from homes and businesses.
All donated items will be listed for sale on the day of the Sports Swap for purchase, and donations are 100 percent tax-deductible, a Thurston Middle School Parent Teacher Association news release said.

Unsold items will be donated to the Laguna Beach Boys & Girls Club, organizers said.
The Sports Swap will take place Saturday, Nov. 5 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Thurston Middle School Gym.
