Traffic Advisory: Helicopter Lands Near Thousand Steps Beach
A medical aid rescue at Thousand Steps Beach caused delays in both directions at Coast Highway and 9th Avenue in Laguna Beach Saturday.
LAGUNA BEACH, CA — A helicopter landed near Thousand Steps Beach for a medical aid rescue Saturday morning, backing up traffic in the area. The rescue effort caused delays in the area of 9th Avenue and Coast Highway, according to the City of Laguna Beach.
Beachgoers and commuters were advised to avoid the area due to delays in both directions of the highway. Delays were expected to continue through 11:30 a.m. Saturday.
City officials did not release further detail about the condition of the patient.
