Waking up with the waves on Wednesday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Laguna Beach Patch surf report. Well, this stretch of coastline needs a wake-up call! Yep, we're seeing more minimal energy out there. So, you might want to take a little drive down south where you'll find some more fun size surf!
The conditions are starting off pretty clean, with a minor mixture of energy. We're seeing some little lingering northwest windswell and some smaller south-southwest groundswell in the water.
That recipe is offering this neck of the woods, with some weak sectiony lines, with maybe a few fun ones, with a log or an SUP. Most Laguna Beach spots are pulling knee-high waves, with the focal points seeing a few thigh-high-plus waves.

Checking the tides ... at 10:55 later this morning it drops to a 0.4 low, which will have most spots needing water and inconsistent mid- to late morning. The tide then pushes back up to a 4.5 high at 5:49 this evening.
If you're really itching for a salt water bath, break out that 3/2 fullsuit, with the water temperature averaging between 58 and 59 degrees. Good luck out there!
