Wednesday Wave Check

A bit more energy in the water.

Waking up with the waves on Wednesday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Laguna Beach Patch surf report.  Well, we're seeing a bit of an increase in the action.  Now, it's nothing solid that's for sure, but it's definitely rideable in this neck of the woods!

The conditions are starting off pretty clean with some spots seeing a little texture on the water.  As far as the surf goes...we're seeing mainly building south-southwest swell in the water.

That recipe is offering this stretch of sand with some fast drained-out lines, with some fun pick and choose corners.  Most Laguna Beach spots are running about knee to waist high plus, with the standout spots that pick up the most southerly energy seeing some stomach high waves, with even a few larger sets.

Taking a look at the tides: At 10:29 this morning the tide climbs up to a 4.0 high and then drops to a 2.0 low at 3:08 this afternoon.  If you're going to get wet, throw on a 3/2 fullsuit for at least that morning session, with the water temp averaging between 60 and 62 degrees.  Have fun out there!!
