Woman Injured In Lighthouse Cove Cliff Jump

An Orange County Sheriff's Department helicopter airlifted a woman who fell over 15-feet from Laguna Beach's infamous Lighthouse Cove.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA —A 24-year-old woman suffered injury when she tumbled from the rocks, over 15-feet while climbing in Laguna Beach's Lighthouse Cove over the weekend, officials said.

On Sunday afternoon, Laguna Beach Firefighters, Orange County Lifeguards, and Orange County Sheriff's Department all assisted the woman who "jumped off some rocks, causing bodily injury," a spokesperson for Laguna Beach Fire Department said.

The Laguna Beach Fire Department paramedics treated her injuries on the scene but determined she needed further medical attention.

Orange County Sheriff's Department Duke 6 transported the woman to nearby Mission Hospital for treatment.

Her condition, as of this report, was not known.
