LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA — A 13-year-old actress from South Orange County just won her 11th best acting award in two years, after Kayden Tokarski took home a Best Young Acting Award from the LA Sun Film Festival Monday, Feb. 6.

Kayden secured her 11th win for her lead role in the short film "I Miss Her Too." The announcement comes on the heels of January awards from Actress Universe, and the Italian Monza Film Festival for her lead role in the independent feature film "Apocalypse Love Story."

"I am honestly astonished to have received all these awards," Kayden told Patch. "Acting has been a dream of mine since I was four years old. I'm really grateful for all the opportunities I've encountered and for all the people who continue to help me along the way."

But along with winning all of those awards, Kayden continues to be a working actress while attending school. She secured a role in the upcoming sci-fi psychological drama "Roswell Delirium," a film set in the '80s and written to pay tribute to the film stars of that time.

Kayden will act alongside film stars Dee Wallace, known for her roles in "E.T." and "Cujo;" "The Breakfast Club's" Anthony Michael Hall; "Die Hard's" Reggie VelJohnson; and "Flash Gordon's" Sam Jones, among others.

"I'm excited for the upcoming release of Director Richard Bakewell's 'Roswell Delirium' with Anthony Michael Hall this July," Kayden said. "I play a mean girl in this amazing sci-fi feature film set in the '80s. The movie has a tremendous cast."
