A Big Sandbox at Crown Valley and Alicia Parkways

The parking lot areas are among the construction sites at City Hall this week.

There's a lot of dirt being spread around at the new City Hall this week. That's because the parking lot areas are being mapped out. Some might say it looks like a big sandbox.

Here are construction activities anticipated for the week of May 16-20, according to Dan Fox, community development director.

  • Continue site work with curb and gutter in the parking lot areas.
  • Begin installation of irrigation on slopes.
  • Remove and replace sidewalks along Alicia and Crown Valley parkways.
  • Continue interior painting and finish work.
  • Continue work on fountain at front entry area.

The new City Hall is expected to be completed by late August. Workers  broke ground in October.
