Attendees will hear from Mayor John Gabbard and Mayor Pro Tem Mike Frost.

The ribbon-cutting will celebrate Heritage Dog Park's Fun Zone, which has been expanded from what used to be a single off-leash play space to two separate play areas, giving pups more room to play.

The upgrade significantly expands the area from 2,500 square feet to 11,500 square feet.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony takes place at 4 p.m. on June 9 at Heritage Park, 34400 Old Golden Lantern.
