Are We Crazy?

Way to go USA. That's right we have decided to arm the rebels in Syria. And, we are going to be able to get the arms there in a resonable time. Let's look at this a couple of ways.
1. Many of the people we are going to arm are sworn enemies of the United States and Israel. Israel, at least for the time being is our ally. We haven't completely turned our backs on them yet.  Now, why in the world would we arm our enemies and an enemy of our ally? How smart is this? Would you give a person who has sworn to destroy you a gun to do it with? We are about to do just that.
2. We can get the arms there in a reasonable time. Wonderful, yet when our embassy in Lybia was under attack we couldn't get even an armed drone there to try to save our Ambassador and 3 other brave American citizens. We had troops within 2 hours of the Ambassador and didn't send them in a reasonable time. But, we are going to get arms into the hands of our enemies in a reasonable time.
Are you seeing a pattern? Where are our priorities? What are the real goals of those in power? How much longer are we the people going to allow our country to be ruined for the generations to come?
