Let's Address The Elephant in The Room

Well, it's there and everyone has to look at it. The big fat elephant in the room is there.

Do you or do you not believe that a marriage is between one man and one woman? Our future direction as a country and a society now may actually hinge on your belief.

Now we can forget about the economy, the weakening of our armed forces, the strong leaning toward a socialized government, national forced purchase of health insurance, and all the other things that will be brought up in the election.

We can focus on one thing: Do you believe that a marriage is between one man and one woman? It should make this coming election and your vote pretty easy. If you believe that marriage is between one man and one woman, you will vote one way. If you believe that a marriage is anything else, you will vote for the man and party that has clearly stated supporting the  alternative.

Don't rationalize that it is one man's belief and not a big deal. It is the belief of the President of the United States, the leader of the most powerful nation on earth and richest, next to China.

Don't be dulled into thinking this is nothing to get excited about. It is your children's future and theirs that you will be playing with. I know I sound old fashioned and I guess I am. I am happy that my mom and dad were my mom and dad, and not two moms or two dads or any other combination.

But that's me and I will express myself with my vote. Just think, you can, too.
