A SIMPLE Way to Help Local Businesses for Free

In just 5 minutes you can show your support for small business in your area.

Everyone wants to support local business and for everyone- including cities- to be "business friendly." Opis Network, a Newport Beach business consultancy, has been doing just that for the past three years and they are asking your help to expand their revolutionary business accelerator program.

Starting in January, 2010, Opis partnered with the City of Santa Ana and offered their inaugural "helping 100 businesses for 100 days" program. Over 200 attendees showed up en masse and most agreed that this was "one of the best things that the city of Santa Ana had ever done for their business community." The crowd was welcomed by Councilmembers Vince Sarmiento and Michele Martinez and were taught how to grow their businesses in just 100 days. For free. The city had such great results they offered a second program 90 days later, followed by Buena Park, Newport Beach, San Bernardino and most recently Costa Mesa. So far there have been more than 1500 businesses that have been introduced to the 100 days program.

The program teaches entrepreneurs, solopreneurs and businesses that have been around for decades in some cases, how to competitively position themselves in this highly competitive world. Most businesses that complete the program- and there have been hundreds so far- grow from 20% to several hundred percent in some cases in just 13 weeks. As cities are facing challenges as never before (Stockton as a case study) and Redevelopment now history, Opis Network is looking to offer REGIONAL program and is in competition for a $250,000 grant being offered by Chase bank and Living Social.
