Featuring Large Single-Story Homes in Laguna Niguel & Dana Point

As of this writing there are 99 single family detached homes in Laguna Niguel for sale. Only eighteen are under $800,000 so if you are in the lower price ranges you might want to shop east of the freeway. Between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000 there are thirty-three homes for sale. That is not an over-abundance but at least you have some to look at. That, by the way, is 33% of the market. Of those thirty-three there are six that are large one-story homes.

Many buyers are not even aware of the existence of large one-story homes in Laguna Niguel. Three of the six available have three-car garages and three have two-car garages. The sizes range from 2600 sq. ft. on the low end to 5200 sq. ft. on the high side.

One of the single-story homes, and the newest, is in Marina Hills and it features a
three-car garage and 2800 sq. ft. Another one-story which has a three-car
garage is in El Niguel Heights and four of the single-story homes are located
around the El Niguel Golf Course.

Let's get real. Our empty nester knees won't last forever so maybe it is time to find that one-story home that still has a luxury feel that you want. If you are in the market for that super-luxury one-story home, there is one under construction in Bear Brand Ridge. It is a measly 11,000 sq. ft. and has a nine-car garage. The expected completion date is late 2013 and the list price is a cool $6.9
million.

If you would like one of those large single-story homes with an ocean view included, then look to Dana Point. Currently there are three single-story homes in the $1.3 to $1.6 million bracket and seven more in the $2 million to $3 million range. They may be found in Monarch Bay, Niguel Shores, Monarch Bay Terrace, and the Estates at Monarch Beach Golf Course.
