Shame on Us

That's right, shame on us. It is said that people get the government they deserve. But honestly did we really deserve this government? Did we deserve to have a perverted to take a case that was clearly unconstitutional and rewrite it to make it fit the Constitution? Yes, I am speaking of Barry's health program.

The Supreme Court found that the mandate to purchase was unconstitutional. Not to worry comrades they changed mandate to a tax and the square peg fit nicely in the round hole.

Is this really the government you want? My heart bleeds just like anyone for people who cannot afford the medical treatment our president and congressmen, and judges get. But who cares? That's not the issue.

The issue is that the government now can clearly force all of us to purchase anything they feel we should purchase. How about solar power? The government decides that we should all use solar panels to cut down on the use of oil and coal. If you don't install solar panels by 2015 you will be fined/taxed $1,000 every year until you do so.

Can't happen? Of course it can. Your government just took a huge eraser to your basic rights as an American citizen that previously was guaranteed under the constitution. I bet you are going to let it ride aren't you? Not me. I will game the system every way I can. I will speak out against our socialistic government and for a free society whenever I can.

How did this happen to us. We let it happen slowly but surely. SHAME ON US!
