The Blue Moon, Earthquakes and Hurricane Isaac

September comes in with a broad array of energy across the planet. Southern California experienced an earthquake swarm with hundreds of small shakers in the past week. The Philippines had a 7.6 quake on Friday that caused many to flee their homes. There wasn’t a large tsunami but at least one person lost their life. Also, last week there was a 7.3 earthquake in El Salvador.

Haiti, Florida and the Gulf states, had to deal with Hurricane Isaac. This hurricane came into New Orleans on the exact same day as the tragic Hurricane Katrina. Many homes and business are flooded with hundreds evacuated.

Friday Aug. 31, gave us the Blue Moon phenomena. A Blue Moon is designated as the second full moon in a month; the first full moon was on Aug. 1.  This rare even will not occur until the year 2015.

These things are life as usual on earth. Yet there is intensity right now. If we could animate the earth it would seem as if it were restless and uneasy in its skin. There are droughts in various places and variable weather. Certainly the world has gone through cycles and transformations, planets shift.

Yet the earth is unique, in that it has life upon it and that diversity and the planet itself are connected. The earth's shifts and changes affect the beings that live within its biosphere. We are all on this journey together.

The inhabitants of this world and the planet itself are speaking to us in a language most have long lost the ability to hear. There is discomfort in the refrains that drift along the wind just as there is a quiet ache of a sort in the human condition. Most people sense something adrift and the majority ignores it. They disregard the signs.

A pod of pilot whales beached on a Florida shore at Avalon State Park in Fort Pierce on Saturday. They say these beautiful dolphin like animals sometimes strand themselves because of parasites in their brains, but they are not sure. As they said in Star Wars, “There is a disturbance in the Force.”

How are These Things Connected?

The skeptic would scoff and say this is hogwash. All of these events are just the usual happenings. They would think it is ludicrous to find a common alignment in all of these natural events. Perhaps, but everyone has their view, 2012 is an uncommon year. There is a shift in the global alignment of our consciousness and the planet.

Many people now cannot help but reveal their inner truths. Yes we are all experiencing it for ourselves and seeing it occur everywhere. If you are not happy with your mate, your job, or yourself you are being pushed to deal with that reality. We are seeing people show us the innermost levels of their persons. They can’t help themselves.

We are seeing or experiencing sleeplessness, anxiety, unusual physical symptoms, frustration, restlessness, temper tantrums, mood swings, melancholy and intermixed glee. Sometimes our feelings just explode out of nowhere and fade away like a wisp of a cloud. Something remarkable is happening which is we are being urged to be authentic

In the wake of this the planet as well is going through its own juxtapositions. As I said humanity and the earth are connected. As the planet shifts, energy is reflected back to us and we shift as well on individual to complex levels.

The earth is not done however. Something is coming. The planet is going to shift in a way that will tax our understanding of the earth and of ourselves and in doing so the cataclysm will offer us the opportunity to heal our humanity and our spirits. The degree and severity of that earth change can still be decided by our joint process of group thought. The question is what do we need to happen to shift our awareness toward the soul level of our consciousness?

I believe that by shifting our attention to the vibration of love and compassion, and the best that is among us we can help ourselves and the planet stabilize and balance. These earth changes ask us to remember that we are all connected and that the earth is our ‘ride’ on this journey. It deserves our diligent attention.
