'The Hipster' Movement is Taking Over

What does it mean to be a "Hipster?" Well, the new fashion craze and lifestyle is taking the nation by storm.

Oversized, Steve Urkel style glasses, suspenders, tight pants, crazy moustaches, fanny pack, and even plaid and bright colors combined, are all the new style of fashion that everyone wants to wear.

These articles of clothing and many of the accesories were laughable just a decade ago. I guess it's true that nothing really does go out of style.

The Hipster Olympics were held in Berlin, Germany just a few weeks ago. Participants competed in events such as skinny jeans Tug-o-War, make your own mustache contests, horned rimmed glasses throw and everyones favorite tote bag sack races.

The Hipster is said to have a new and free way of thinking. It's essentially the trendier hippy for 2012 and with kids headed back to school, they will no doubt be sporting some of these looks.

Whatever it is, the style is unique all on its own, and catching on quick. Don't be surprised to see someone you know sporting a fanny pack and a bright pink bow tie very soon.
