U.S.Open of Surfing Brings Excitement, Sorrow
Murphy's Law was in full effect at the surfing event last week.
The U.S. Open of Surfing in Huntington Beach continues to bring excitement, crowds and, unfortunately, Murphy's Law.
In other words, "if anything that can go wrong, it will go wrong."
A few days ago when I left the quiet streets of Laguna Niguel and headed to the event, I fiund myself stuck in traffic. There was a causality at the entrance near the pier just a few days after the surfing event began.

It appeared that a cyclist was struck by a car, but there was no car at the scene.
