City Seeking Residents to Fill Vacancies on Commissions and Committees
The city of Laguna Niguel is accepting applications for between 24 and 34 open commission and committee positions.

The city is seeking out residents who are willing to fulfill open positions on eight comissions and committees. All applicants must be residents of the city with the exception of applicants for the
The open positions are as follows:
- Two openings for the Investment, Banking and Audit Committee
- 10-20 openings for the Military Support Committee
- Two openings for the Parks and Recreation Commission
- Two openings for the Planning Commission
- Two openings for the Public Safety Committee
- Three openings for the Senior Citizens Committee Public Safety Committee
- One opening for the Sports Advisory Committee
- Two openings for the Traffic and Transportation Commission
Applications are due by Fri., Oct. 28 at 5 p.m. Interviews for the open positions will be conducted by the City Council on Nov. 14, starting at 3:30 p.m. And, if necessary on Wed., Nov. 16 starting at 3:30 p.m. Prospective candidates must be available for interviews on both dates.

The city will be holding an information session about the open positions on Wed., Nov. 2 at 6 p.m., at the at City Hall, 30111 Crown Valley Pkwy.
