"He saw the banner, and he is very humble," Tews said. "He doesn't know he will be given a certificate at the council meeting."
Tews said the Military Support Committee was contacted about four months ago by Naimon's wife, Andrea, asking if it had any special program for recognizing service men and women.
"We didn't have anything at the time, but we do now," Tews said. "I'd say we probably have between one and two dozen in Laguna Niguel. We'd like to hear from anyone who would meet the criteria so we can recognize them for their fine work."
