Coastal Cleanup Day Is Every Day In California, All 2020 Long
It's your chance to love the place you live. Coastal Cleanup Day is happening all year long.
DANA POINT, CA ā Every year, millions of tons of trash enters the ocean, according to the California Coastal Commission. With no centralized cleanups planned due to coronavirus, every Saturday has become "Coastal Cleanup Day."
Cleaning your neighborhoods, local parks, streets, and storm drains helps protect our coast. You can stop the amount of trash that travels through storm drains, creeks, and rivers to become beach and ocean pollution. Simply pick up litter in your community with your household.
Californians across the state will take to their beaches, sidewalks, and parks for this yearās #CoastalCleanup.
