Commanding Officer of City's Adopted Marine Unit to Speak Tuesday at Council Meeting

Lt. Col. Kevin Norton will provide a review of the unit's activities during its recent deployment in Asia at 7 p.m. at City Hall.

The commanding officer of Laguna Niguel's adopted U.S. Marine unit, will make a presentation at Tuesday's City Council meeting.  

Lt. Col. Kevin Norton will, among other things, provide a review of the unit's activities during its recent deployment in Asia. The presentation will include power-point slides and a short video.

  • Presentation of plaques to the outgoing Youth Committee members
  • Presentation of the Girl Scout Gold Award.
  • Presentation of Gateway Specific Plan Comprehensive Planning Award
  • Resolution calling, ordering and giving notice of the general election on Nov. 6 and resolution consolidating general election with statewide election
  • Authorize a transfer of $135,174 from the Sea Country Senior and Community Center expansion project to the Sea Country Senior and Community Center flooring replacement and exterior wall waterproofing project
  • Authorize a transfer of $153,826 from the Sea Country Senior and Community Center office furniture/equipment account to the Sea Country Senior and Community Center flooring replacement and exterior wall waterproofing project.
  • Adoption of the 2012-2013 city pperating budget and capital improvement program
  • Adoption of a resolution establishing a preferential parking program for oversized cars on the westside of Camino Capistrano between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m.

The City Council meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the  30111 Crown Valley Pkwy.
