Construction Worker in Serious Condition After 25-Foot Fall
The man fell onto steel girders at St. Anne School, but he was expected to live.

A 31-year-old construction worker fell 25 feet onto steel girders at St. Anne School in Laguna Niguel on Friday and was hospitalized in serious condition.
The man had been working on erecting steel beams for a wing being built at the school at 32451 Bear Brand Road about 2:25 p.m. when he fell, landing on one of the beams on the ground, according to Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Steve Concialdi.
The worker sustained several head and back injuries, but was expected to survive, Concialdi said.

Fall classes have not yet started at St. Anne School, Concialdi said.
