Dana Point Residents Urged To Attend General Plan Update Forum
The city will host its first General Plan Update community workshop March 8, and Dana Point residents are encouraged to attend.
DANA POINT, CA ā Dana Point residents looking to give input about the city's General Plan are urged to attend a community forum workshop to take place Wednesday, March 8.
The community workshop comes after the Dana Point officials announced that the city's General Plan would be updated for the first time since 1991.
Throughout the year, the City of Dana Point will hold the "visioning" phase of the General Plan Update, and this community forum is the first of many to be held by city officials.

The visioning phase of the update will include a variety of in-person and virtual engagement efforts with the community to help shape and create a vision for the future of Dana Point.
During the community workshop, residents will join city staff and its consultant, RRM Design Group, to hear an overview of the Dana Point General Plan for commentary.

The workshop will also feature a short presentation and group activities, as well as light appetizers.
The General Plan Update community workshop takes place Wednesday, March 8 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Dana Point Community House, 24642 San Juan Avenue.
