Matthew Romano, a senior at Dana Hills High School has committed to Humboldt State University after receiving a full athletic football scholarship on his official recruiting trip. Romano was an All South Coast League Performer on both sides of the ball. Offensively, Romano had 37 receptions for 410 yards and 5 TDs. Defensively, Romano had 31 Tackles, 3.0 TFL (Tackles For Loss), 5.0 Sacks, 11 QB Pressures, and 2 PBU (Pass Break Ups). Romano was also a team captain, awarded the Captain's Award, and named Homecoming King.
