Don't Be Alarmed if You Hear Sirens

The fire alarm system at the new City Hall will be tested this week as construction continues.

If you live anywhere near the new City Hall, at Alicia and Crown Valley parkways, you might hear some sirens the week of June 20-24.

Testing of the fire alarm system is among the work being done this week,  according to Dan Fox, community development director. Other work:

  • Installing base and asphalt in the parking lot area.
  • Installing stone tile and glass railing on entry lobby stairs.
  • Continuing work on entry monument sign.
  • Continuing interior cabinets and finish work.

The new building is expected to be open Oct. 15.
