Surfas Culinary District at SOCO Collection invites you to join their Fresh Butter and Cheese Please! cooking class on April 25th from 10 am - 1 pm. Come see how easy it is to make fresh cheeses right in your own kitchen! You’ll be surprised how simple it is to prepare homemade cheese that tastes superior to store-bought varieties. Surfas’ Chef Instructor will teach you the basics for making ricotta, butter, queso blanco, and mascarpone cheese. You will also learn how to stretch and pull fresh mozzarella and how to embellish your new recipes at home. Is there anything better than homemade cheese?
The hands-on cooking class and tasting is $65 and participants can sign up on the “events” page at surfasonline.com or by visiting in store. Surfas Culinary District is location at 3309 Hyland Avenue Costa Mesa, CA 92626.
