Gas Prices in Laguna Niguel: Time To Fill Up

LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA — Driving to an inauguration event or protest? It might be a good time to fill up the gas tank according to AAA.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Orange County dropped one-tenth of a cent to $2.846, also the eighth consecutive decrease.

The lowest price gas in Orange County continues to be Costco, last seen at $2.65 per gallon of regular unleaded gasoline on Thursday.

The Orange County average price is 2.2 cents less than one week ago, 13.1 cents higher than one month ago, and 5.9 cents lower than one year ago.

Gas prices in Los Angeles County dropped two-tenths of a cent Thursday to $2.856, the eighth consecutive decrease following a 20-day streak of rising prices.

The average price is 1.8 cents lower than one week ago, 13.6 cents higher than one month ago, and 6.8 cents lower than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
