LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA — Los Angeles sheriff's are seeking a missing college student headed to Orange County from Chico State when he vanished in the summer of 2013. His missing person case remains a mystery.
On Monday, LASD re-issued a call for information about the 19-year-old Bryce Lapisa, who was driving from Placer County to see his parents in Orange County.
Laspisa never arrived at his destination, last seen about 2 a.m. on Aug. 30, 2013, in Kern County, when he stopped to call his parents.

His beige 2003 Toyota Highlander was found off Lake Hughes Road near Castaic Lake, according to a sheriff's statement.
Shortly after his disappearance, a body burned beyond recognition was discovered in that same Castaic area; however, at that time, LASD declared this was not Lapisa.
