Laguna Niguel Teen in Critical Condition After Slamming into Pole
A 16 year-old boy driving without a license was speeding on Alicia Parkway before losing control and crashing, police say.

A 16-year-old boy remained hospitalized in critical condition resulting from the solo crash of a car he was driving at high speed in Laguna Niguel, authorities said today.
It happened about 10:45 p.m. Thursday on Alicia Parkway near Niguel Road, Orange County sheriff’s Lt. Jeff Hallock said.
The teen -- who was not licensed to drive -- apparently was speeding on southbound Alicia Parkway when the BMW M3 sedan went out of control and slammed into a power pole, Hallock said.
