'Let's Go, Dana Point!' State Of The City Returns To Talk Business

Community members interested in learning more about ongoing developments in their city can purchase tickets in advance.

DANA POINT, CA — Dana Point residents who want to learn more about developments taking place across their community may want to mark their calendars. The annual State of the City returns Sept. 29 in an event titled, "Let's Go, Dana Point! Reconnect & Revitalize."

Those who attend the event will have the chance to hear about recent developments and new investments in Dana Point, such as the return of the annual Ohana Festival at Doheny State Beach and the progress the city has made in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. A video presentation on recent development initiatives in Dana Point will kick the event off, followed by a panel of business executives at the forefront of important developments and investments in the city.

This year's State of the City will be hosted by Dana Point Mayor Jamey Federico.

ā€œI am happy to share that our city remains resilient and vibrant in spite of the unprecedented events of 2020," Federico said. "We have a great deal of new investment and exciting changes including the rebranding of the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach, the return of Ohana Festival and continued progress in the Town Center and Dana Point Harbor, just to name a few. Our State of the City is going to be exceptional in that we have so much great news to share."

"Let's Go, Dana Point! Reconnect & Revitalize" is being held at the Ocean Institute on Sept. 29 from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets at $55 a person can be purchased on the website.
