Man Threatens Resident at Salt Creek Beach Over Picking Up Dog Waste
A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff's Department from May 8-9.
A man reported that another man threatened him after he asked him to pick up after his dog at Salt Creek Beach in Dana Point. The man told him to mind his own business or he would kill him. The subject was 6-foot-one, had gray-hair, and was wearing a white shirt with brown pants. The incident occurred on Wednesday, May 8, at the 25300 block of Dana Point Harbor Drive.

Welfare Check 4:21 p.m. Pacific Park Drive/Heather Ridge Road. A caller stated that at the entrance to the gas station, a man between 25-30 years old was using his children to ask for money. The two girls were wearing pink dresses and holding signs. The caller was concerned for the children.
Vandalism In Progress 4:19 p.m. La Montrosa/El Alicanta. A caller reported that kids broke a sprinkler line with their bicycles.

Traffic Hazard 1:29 p.m. Crown Valley Parkway/Niguel Road. A caller reported that a mother and her ducklings were in the middle of the street, causing vehicles to swerve.
Reckless Driving 12:45 a.m. 25400 block of Via Estudio. A man, who appeared intoxicated, was racing up and down the street in a red Honda, throwing glass bottles out of his vehicle.
Tuesday, May 8:
Suspicious Person 10:09 p.m. 25100 block of Hidden Hills Road. A caller stated that four men were skateboarding up and down the street, and looking inside parked vehicles, possibly to steal.
Petty Theft Report 7:03 p.m. 27900 block of La Paz Road. A woman reported that her purse was stolen from her locker.
Court Order Violation 7:01 a.m. 25300 block of Yacht Drive. A woman stated that a man she had a restraining order against was standing in her backyard wearing a black hoodie and khaki pants. (Dana Point)
Investigate Person Down 5:57 a.m. Niguel/Charles Roads. A caller reported that a male juvenile was laying half on the sidewalk, and half in the bike lane on Niguel Road, toward Crown Valley Parkway. He was wearing a black sweatshirt and jeans.
