Man Stabbed to Death at Laguna Niguel Bar

A 22-year-old man was stabbed to death during a fight with another man at a Laguna Niguel bar early this morning, an Orange County sheriff’s lieutenant said.

The stabbing was reported at 12:15 a.m. at Patsy’s Irish Pub at 28971 Golden Lantern St., said Orange County sheriff’s Lt. Joe Gaul.

The victim -- identified by the Orange County coroner’s office as 22- year-old Shayan Mazroei of Laguna Niguel -- was transported to Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, where he was pronounced dead, Gaul said.

The suspect, described only as a white male, fled the scene, according to the sheriff’s department.
