Marine's Care Package Drive Coming to Laguna Niguel
Prepare to care, Laguna Niguel residents, as the City of Laguna Niguel embarks in a Car Package Drive on Oct. 29. Here is the scoop:

LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA — Local marines will be the beneficiaries of a Laguna Niguel Care Package Drive being held at Albertson's Stores, on Alicia Parkway and Golden Lantern on Oct. 29.
"This is a great opportunity for the Laguna Niguel community to express their appreciation for the service and sacrifices of the city's adopted Marines," they stated on their website.
The care package drive will collect at two locations:

- ALBERTSONS AT 29941 Alicia Parkway (Town Center)
- 30241 Golden Lanter (Marina Hills)
Both locations will be open and collecting items from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Oct. 29.
Items that are requested for the drive include:

- Bar soap
- Laundry tabs
- Disposable razors
- Shaving cream
- Toothpaste, brushes and dental floss
- Lip balm
- Nail clippers
- Batteries size AA, AAA, and CR123 sizes
- Sunscreen and insect repellent
- DVDs of movies
- Playing cards and dominoes
- Letter writing gear and pens
"Shoppers can purchase items from inside Albertson's and donate, or they can bring donated items to the store locations.
Military Support Committee volunteers will take the items donated and create as many care packages as possible for area Marines.
Volunteers are always needed for care package drives, the Holiday Toy Drive, Baby care Package Drive, and more.
