Motorcyclist Killed on 5 Freeway On-Ramp
A 31-year-old man died when he lost control of his motorcycle, hitting the guardrail for the 5 Freeway onramp.

A 31-year-old San Juan Capistrano man was killed when he lost control of his motorcycle on an on-ramp to the southbound Santa Ana (5) Freeway in Irvine, officials said today.
Phillip Ketter was riding his Suzuki motorcycle about 11:07 p.m. Monday when he lost control of his vehicle for an unknown reason, was ejected from the bike and then slammed into a guardrail, according to the California Highway Patrol. The motorcycle continued about 500 feet south of the collision, according to the CHP.
After Ketter slammed into the guardrail, he was struck by two vehicles, according to the CHP. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
