No Dough for Pizza Hut Robber

An armed robber ran away empty handed when a Dana Point Pizza Hut employee refused to give him the cash.

A would-be robber failed to get any dough when he tried to rob a Pizza Hut in Dana Point Sunday.

Just before 8:30 p.m., an armed gunman walked into the Pizza Hut at 34119 Pacific Coast Highway and pointed a 9mm semi automatic handgun at the clerk, said Orange County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Lt. Jeff Hallock.

The suspect, whose face was covered by a gray bandana, demanded money, but the employee walked away from the counter and refused to comply, Hallock said.
