Police Seek Additional Victims of Man Charged with Molesting Boys in San Clemente

A 24-year-old man pleaded not guilty today with sexually assaulting two boys in San Clemente.

Uriel Ruiz Ricardez is accused of molesting a 13-year-old boy and a 12- year-old boy, according to Deputy District Attorney Michael Carroll.

Investigators suspect there may be more victims, so do not want to release many details about the allegations, Carroll said.

Ricardez, who was arrested Thursday, is charged with three counts of sodomy with a minor younger than 14 and five counts of lewd acts with a minor, all felonies.

The dates of the alleged crimes were Jan. 1, March 1, May 1 and June 1, according to the criminal complaint.
