Small Plane Crash Lands In Dana Point
A Cessna made an emergency landing Saturday on Doheny State beach.
DANA POINT, CA - A single engine two-seater Cessna aircraft made an emergency landing Saturday afternoon in Dana Point, Orange County Fire.
The plane landed safely near the 2400 block of Dana Point Harbor Drive, on Doheny State beach, at just before 2:30 p.m, the OCFA spokesperson said.
"There was a loss of power in the aircraft," OCFA Capt. Tony Bommarito said of why the plane was forced to land.

The 63-year-old man piloting the aircraft and the 25-year-old man in the passenger seat were not injured, nor was anyone on the ground, he said.
The pilot was able to land on the sand and roll to a safe stop, Patch was told.
