Street Improvement Brings Traffic Woes to Dana Point Harbor Area

DANA POINT, CA — The Dana Point Harbor Revitalization Project will improve streets in the area of Puerto Place south of Dana Point Harbor Drive, but in the mean time, traffic will be impacted.

"Traffic control measures will be used to ensure the safety of the public and project personnel," Orange County Dana Point Public Works officers stated.

Drivers in that area are asked to observe traffic control signs, barriers and keep a safe distance from project areas.

The activities involved include grading and placement of aggregate base and asphalt concrete pavement on the east side of Puerto Place south of Dana Point Harbor Drive from Monday, Dec. 5 through Friday Dec. 16, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

"Never enter a construction area," they said.
