Terrorist Threat at Laguna Niguel City Hall Reported to Police
A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff's Department from May 9 to May 12.

The Orange County Sherriff’s Department received a call reporting a terrorist threat at the Laguna Niguel City Hall. The report came in on Mon., May 9, at 8:56 a.m. According to Jim Amormino spokesman for the OC Sheriff's Department, the call turned out not to be a terrorist threat at all, "and was actually a neighbor reporting a dispute with another neighbor." No charges were filed, he said.

Traffic stop 10:16 p.m. Thursday. Cabot Road and Crown Valley Parkway. A 40-year-old male carpenter was arrested after police responded to a traffic stop. The man remained in custody at the time of this writing.

Prowler 4:11 a.m. Thursday. 27800 block of Cummins Drive. A caller to police reported seeing a prowler on Cummins Drive.
Drunk in public 1:50 a.m. Thursday. 24600 block of Cummins Drive. A 54-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public. The man remained in custody at the time of this writing.

Trespassing 10:33 p.m. Wednesday. 30100 block of Niguel Road. Authorities received a call from a local resident about a trespasser on their property.
Burglary report 11:39 a.m. Wednesday. 30000 block of Tessier. A burglary was reported to authorities off Tessier.
Suspicious person 6:11 p.m. Tuesday. A caller reported that a male subject was wandering around a local park and soccer field talking to children. The man was described as being in his late 30s and wearing a blue baseball cap backwards.
Terrorist threats report 5:38 p.m. Tuesday. 30100 block of Crown Valley Parkway. An informant reported being threatened with assault inside a local bank after a male subject began arguing with the informant for staring at him.
Grand theft 3:26 p.m. Tuesday. 32400 block of Bear Brand Road. After receiving a grand theft report, police arrested a 22-year-old female laborer. She was later order released by the court.
Petty theft 4:39 p.m. Monday. 30200 block of Crown Valley Parkway. A petty theft report was phoned in to police.
Burglary report 3:00 p.m. Monday. 24000 block of Rail Circle. Authorities received a report of a burglary.
