The Great Circle

Today I have a heavy heart as I view the tremendous earthquake, tsunami and related damage in Japan. My topic today was to be different,  but I feel it is important to honor and send light to our fellow human beings.  

We are in a time of great change upon the planet. This change is affecting every facet of our lives from social, economic, spiritual and physical. Of course, it will affect the earth, plants and animals as well.

Wake Up

I have tried to blend my weekly topics to help you begin to wake up, pay attention and observe what is happening. It is not a time to be asleep. We are all deeply connected to each other and the planet. What happens to the one affects the whole.  

Just as last week, once again, I implore you to pay attention to what is happening and prepare for the shifts that are occurring. Please gather your earthquake supplies and have a plan. Connect with those you love and heal the rifts that you feel can be healed. Look deep within yourselves and come into balance.  

All the things that we see are giving us subtle and not so subtle signs. The huge sardine and anchovy die-off in the Redondo marina area of California was a sign. All of nature moves in patterns that give us clues to the delicate undercurrents that run through the earth and our souls.

We must listen now, but we do not need to be afraid. It is not about destruction. It is a return to balance. That equilibrium starts within each of our hearts. I ask you to please open yourselves and hear this message.  

Wise Words

Black Elk, the great Lakota medicine man, said, “Everything the power of the world does is done in a circle. The sky is round, and I have heard that the earth is round like a ball, and so are all the stars. The wind, in its greatest power, whirls. Birds make their nest in circles, for theirs is the same religion as ours. The sun comes forth and goes down again in a circle. The moon does the same and both are round. Even the seasons form a great circle in their changing and always come back again to where they were.”  

It is true that what has been will be again. The earth has had massive shifts before and will have them again. We have been connected to a part of "all that exists" and will be again. That "all that is" does not mean death. It is the knowledge of our true wealth.

More Than Money

Our greatest asset is not the coins we carry in our pockets but the inner knowledge held within our subconscious. It is the truth of our lineage that  is far beyond that which we have been told and shown.  

Everything that is occurring is a part of the awakening to truth again. It is like the circle of which Black Elk speaks. It is a return to our innate wisdom. If we can begin to once again be attuned to the earth, our hearts and our souls the gifts of that endeavor will be great.  

We have vast abilities. There is the story of the mother who after a car accident lifted up her burning vehicle to rescue her child. The car,  of course, weighed a ton. How did she do it? She did not think about it. Something within her knew that she could, and she did it. It is time to return to the circle within us and remember the wealth of our true nature. There is tremendous power within us, and it is connected to the earth and to each other.
