Train Fatality Delays Laguna Niguel Metrolink Service

Metrolink train service to Laguna Niguel was delayed by 60-90 minutes Tuesday night because a man was struck and d killed by a Metrolink train in Anaheim.

The accident happened around 7:25 p.m. near the 100 block of North Atchison Street, the Orange County Register reported.

The conductor of the southbound 608 train saw the victim on the tracks from a distance of about 400 feet, according to the Register.

The train’s horn was sounded, but the man did not move, Orange County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. John Roche told the Register.
