Three All-Star Softball Games Set for Next Week
On Monday, it's Orange County vs. Riverside County at Mt. San Antonio College, on Tuesday, it's an all-Orange County doubleheader in Irvine and on Wednesday, it's North O.C. vs. South O.C. at Cal State Fullerton.

Three softball all-star games featuring senior players from high schools in Orange County Patch cities will take place on consecutive days early next week.
On Monday, it's the eighth annual Orange County vs. Riverside County game at 6:30 p.m. at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut. Our local players on the O.C. roster are Dana Hills' Jenny Hurst, El Toro's Lauren Chamberlain, Los Alamitos' Allison Brown and Kailey Willingham, Santa Margarita's Amy Letourneau and Tesoro's Cassandra Roulund. Los Alamitos' Rob Weil and Sean Nierman will serve as assistant coaches. Tickets are $5 for adults, $2 for seniors and $1 for students.

On Tuesday, the 11th Orange County Coaches All-Star Softball Games will feature two games and four teams named after the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League, plus a home-run hitting contest between the doubleheader at Deanna Manning Stadium at Bill Barber Park in Irvine.
The Blue Sox (Orange Coast, South Coast, Sunset leagues) will play the Belles (Empire, Golden West leagues) at 5 p.m., and the Comets (Academy, Pacific Coast and Century leagues) will play Peaches (Freeway, Garden Grove, Orange and Trinity leagues) at 7:30 p.m.

Our local players on the Blue Sox roster: Dana Hills' Jordyn Larkins and Jenny Hurst; El Toro's Victoria Lievanos, Lauren Chamberlain and Mackenzie Sanderson; Los Alamitos' Allison Brown, Alicia Walker and Dana Rex; San Clemente's Kailey McCasland; Tesoro's Addy Hoskins and Cassandra Roulund. Coaches are Dana Hills' Joe Miller, El Toro's Jim Daugherty and Los Alamitos' Rob Weil.
Locals on the Belles' roster: Aliso Niguel's Zharde Sellona, Mission Viejo's Amanda Fernandez, San Juan Hills' Jazmin Grajales and Trabuco Hills' Alexa Chattleton.
Locals on the Peaches' roster: JSerra's Victoria Munoz and Santa Margarita's Catie Monnahan and Amy Letourneau.

On Wednesday, it's the 19th Orange County North vs. South game, presented by Soroptimist International of Brea/La Habra, at Cal State Fullerton at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $6 for adults and $2 for children 18 and under.
Locals on the North roster: Los Alamitos' Allison Brown and Alicia Walker. The Griffins' coach, Rob Weil, will serve as an assistant coach on the team.
Locals on the South roster: Dana Hills' Jenny Hurst, El Toro's Lauren Chamberlain and Mackenzie Sanderson, Mission Viejo's Nikki Bryon and Amanda Fernandez, Santa Margarita's Amy Letourneau and Catie Monnahan. El Toro coach Jim Daugherty and Santa Margarita's John Fitzpatrick will serve as assistant coaches.
