Burger Lounge Goes Green for St. Paddy’s Day with Guinness Shakes
Burger Lounge also introduced a grass-fed Elk Burger topped with duck cracklings, jicama slaw and chipotle aioli.

Just weeks after Burger Lounge announced gluten-free menu options, the certified green restaurant unveiled a dish and drink to bring out your Irish spirit—a Guinness milkshake and elk burger.
The milkshake is made with a heavy pour of Guinness stout blended into creamy vanilla ice cream.
The grass-fed elk burger is topped with duck cracklings (like pork rinds), jicama slaw and chipotle aioli spread. Burger Lounge told Patch the elk is 90/10 lean ground meat.

The shake is available through St. Patrick’s’ Day on March 17 and the elk burger is on the menu through April.
Burger Lounge has eight locations in Southern California. A Del Mar location will open in Flower Hill Promenade on Via De La Valle this spring.

“While Burger Lounge was founded on the principle of always using 100% grass-fed beef, it’s also been important to us to offer alternative options for guests who have dietary restrictions,” Dean Loring, CEO and Co-founder of Burger Lounge, said in an announcement last month. “We already have great vegetarian options, and the gluten-free menu allows us to take our commitment to serving our guests to the next level.”
