Diamond Dash at Balboa Park

Come dash for diamonds at the in Balboa Park.

Couples will use hints texted to their cellphones to hunt through the park on a journey to find a $15,000 diamond ring.

Registration begins at 1 p.m. and is free. The hunt is expected to last two hours.

Registration is on the south entrance of the Natural History Museum and the award ceremony following the hunt will take place at the north entrance.

Proceeds will benefit the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, San Diego.
