Tall ships mock battle

Board one of two tall ships as they engage in a mock battle on San Diego Bay. The battle will employ the same tactics used during the mid-to late 1800s when the Gold Rush brought people to the West Coast. 

The ships entering the mock battle are the Californian, a replica of a revenue cutter that patrolled the coast during the California Gold Rush, and Amazing Grace, designed like a traditional American sailing vessel that fought in the British War of Independence and again in 1812. 

Sails at 12:30 p.m., but must check in by noon.
