October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Scripps Cancer Center will offer a free virtual support group on Wednesday, Oct. 28 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. The group is a safe space to find emotional support, understanding, new coping skills and encouragement. Group members share experiences, knowledge, hopes, fears and strengths in a relaxed and confidential setting. This session is for patients with stages 0-3 breast cancer, including newly diagnosed patients and those having completed treatment. The Scripps Breast Cancer Support Group is virtual through Microsoft Teams and phone.
