See a Film Noir Classic at La Jolla Library on Friday

"The Scar" (also released as "Hollow Triumph" with Paul Henreid and Joan Bennett will play at the La Jolla/Riford Branch Library on Friday at 3 p.m.

Come to the San Diego Public Library's La Jolla/Riford branch on Friday for a free movie and popcorn. The library shows a film noir classic film on the second Friday of every month at 3 p.m.

This week's screening is The Scar (also known as Hollow Triumph).

The 1948 release features Paul Henreid (from Casablanca) and Joan Bennett (from Doctor's Wives).

The library will present The Man Who Knew Too Much on April 12, the Secret Agent on May 10 and The Lady Vanishes on June 14.
